Knomart's Agent pathway is deliberately practical. Training is included in Agent membership, but completing training does not by itself make someone a certified Agent. The model requires two things beyond learning: passing the exams and signing one real merchant.
Learning is the preparation
Training gives an aspiring Agent the knowledge needed to understand the role. You need to know how to approach businesses, explain Knomart, onboard merchants, help with implementation and support the businesses you sign.
That knowledge matters because an Agent is not simply a person who promotes the platform. The role continues after a merchant says yes.
Why videos are not enough
Watching training can show that you have consumed information. It cannot show that you can use that information in a real merchant relationship.
That is why the certification model deliberately avoids a “watch the course and graduate” approach. The credential is intended to mean that the person has moved from learning into actual market activity.
The exam tests the knowledge
Passing the relevant exams is one part of the requirement. It demonstrates that you have completed the knowledge side of the Agent pathway.
But passing an exam alone is also not enough. A person can know the material without yet demonstrating that they can operate as an Agent in the field.
The merchant proves the practical side
The second requirement is to sign one real merchant. This is the practical test.
You have to take what you learned and use it to create an actual merchant relationship. That means moving beyond theory into conversations, onboarding and the beginning of a working relationship with a real business.
What certification is really saying
Certification is therefore more than a course-completion badge. It represents a combination of knowledge and demonstrated action: you have passed the exams and shown that you can close a real merchant.
The distinction also protects the value of the Agent credential. If watching videos alone were enough, the certification would say very little about someone's ability to perform the role.
The Agent journey keeps going
Certification is a starting point for the actual Agent work. Certified Agents are expected to build merchant relationships and support the merchants they sign. The support path remains simple: merchant → Agent → Knomart when technical escalation is needed.
Learn the material. Pass the exams. Go into the market. Sign a real merchant. That is why nobody graduates by watching videos.
