How Knomart Agent Certification Works

Knomart Agent certification is designed to prove that you can do the job in the real world — not simply that you completed training.

The Agent pathway has a deliberately practical certification requirement: pass the exams and sign one real merchant. That means certification connects knowledge with an actual business relationship.

Training comes first

Agent training is included in Agent membership. It is there to help you understand the role and prepare for the work involved in finding, onboarding and supporting merchants.

But training by itself is not certification. The model is explicit about this: nobody graduates by watching videos.

Step 1: Learn the Agent role

Before certification, you need to understand what an Agent is responsible for. That includes approaching businesses, explaining Knomart, onboarding merchants, helping with implementation and supporting the businesses you sign.

Step 2: Pass the exams

The next requirement is passing the relevant exams. The exams test the knowledge needed for the Agent role. Passing them demonstrates that you have completed the knowledge side of the pathway.

The wider Knomart model also uses skill and vertical badges as evidence of demonstrated competence. Those badges are earned by assessment rather than simply being assigned because someone joined.

Step 3: Sign one real merchant

This is the part that makes Agent certification different from a purely online course. You must sign one real merchant.

The requirement connects the credential to an actual business. You have to take what you learned and use it to create a real merchant relationship.

Why the real merchant matters

An Agent's work is relational. The role is not only about knowing the product; it involves finding businesses, understanding their needs, helping them get started and continuing to support them.

A real merchant therefore provides practical evidence that the Agent can move from knowledge into action.

Certification is a beginning, not the finish line

Becoming certified does not mean the work stops. The Agent is expected to build and support a merchant portfolio. The signing Agent supports their own merchants, while technical issues can be escalated through the Agent to Knomart.

There is also one flat Agent category rather than multiple personal Agent tiers. Progression runs from Agent toward the Partner programme.

The simple formula

Training → Pass the exams → Sign one real merchant → Become certified.

The principle is straightforward: Knomart wants the certification to represent both knowledge and evidence that you can actually operate as an Agent.

You do not become a Knomart Agent by watching lessons alone. You learn, pass, and then prove the role in the real market.
