Your supplier is another merchant
Some businesses you buy stock from may also operate on Knomart. In that case, you are trading with another business inside the merchant network rather than dealing with a completely external supplier.
The Master Plan places this topic under M15 · Money Movement, within the merchant-to-merchant flow. The purpose is to make value movement between businesses easier to understand and keep it connected to the underlying trade.
Start with the stock transaction
Before thinking about the payment, make sure you know what you are buying. The supplier, products, quantities and agreed amount should be clear.
That gives the payment a useful reference. When money moves, you should be able to answer a simple question later: what stock or supply was this payment for?
Pay the right business for the right transaction
Merchant-to-merchant payments work best when both sides are clear about who is paying, who is receiving, and what the payment represents.
Check the supplier's business details before confirming the transaction. Avoid relying on memory when you deal with several suppliers, especially when amounts or orders are similar.
Keep the payment connected to your records
A stock purchase affects more than your cash balance. It can also affect inventory and business records. Keeping the payment connected to the purchase makes later reconciliation easier.
If you review your transactions at the end of the day or week, you should be able to distinguish a supplier payment from other money movements and understand why it happened.
Why merchant-to-merchant trade matters
Knomart's merchant-to-merchant section exists for a specific reason: businesses can create value for one another by trading within the network. A supplier who is already on Knomart can participate in that same business ecosystem instead of remaining completely outside it.
The benefit is not simply moving money. It is creating a clearer connection between the businesses, the goods being traded and the records that describe those transactions.
Know what you bought, know who you are paying, and keep the payment tied to the transaction. When your supplier is also on Knomart, merchant-to-merchant trade can become part of a more connected business record.
