Diamonds are earned by Knomart Community members and can be redeemed for goods at participating Knomart merchant shops. If you run a shop, joining the redemption programme means choosing to let eligible customers use their Diamonds with you.
1. Understand the Programme
Before opting in, understand what Diamond redemption means for your business. Diamonds are a customer-value mechanism, not a replacement for your normal sales process. Participation is voluntary, so the decision should fit your products, customers and business model.
2. Know Who Funds the Redemption
The current model places the redemption cost with the participating merchant as a marketing cost. Knomart does not reimburse the merchant for redeemed Diamonds. This makes it important to understand the commercial trade-off before joining.
3. Decide Whether Your Shop Fits
Think about the products you sell and the customers you want to attract. A Diamond redemption can bring a member into your shop, where they may also make a normal purchase. But that does not mean every shop will benefit in the same way.
4. Opt In to Participate
When the programme is available to your merchant account, choose to participate under its current terms. Keep the decision intentional: accepting Diamonds is an opt-in merchant programme, not a requirement for using Knomart.
5. Make Redemption Easy to Understand
Your staff should know that your shop participates and understand the redemption process provided by the programme. Customers should be able to identify your shop as a participating merchant and know what they can redeem.
6. Watch the Business Impact
Pay attention to the customer activity the programme creates. Consider whether redemptions are bringing useful footfall, additional purchases or stronger customer relationships. Use what you observe to decide whether participation continues to make sense.
7. Remember That You Can Leave
Participation is not permanent. If Diamond acceptance no longer fits your business, the programme is designed so merchants can leave. Understanding the exit process before joining is part of making a responsible business decision.
Start accepting Diamonds because the programme makes sense for your shop—not because you feel pressured to participate. Understand the terms, opt in deliberately, serve customers well and review the business value over time.
